This hi-tech, boutique hotel in the exclusive Belgravia district of London is a grade II listed building that honours its heritage externally, but indulges a passion for modern design and technology

As an innovative, attractive material, Smartglass is the perfect match for modern and chic boutique hotels. Separating bathroom from bedroom with an electronically switchable glass partition allows architects to achieve a creative use of space and light unparalleled in conventional hotel environments. When transparent, the glass creates a sense of spaciousness through uninterrupted sight lines, and even in an opaque state it allows guests to enjoy optimal levels of natural light.

Switchable Smartglass was the ideal solution to create a bright open space as it not only lets more light into the bathroom but also gives the impression of increased space throughout the entire room.
