Richard Rogers has claimed that Prince Charles has the ability to veto any London development if he is opposed to the plans.
He has said that two of his own projects were prevented by the Prince’s personal objections-Chelsea Barracks and Paternoster Square.
A spokesman for the Royal Family has denied these accusations, saying that it is up to the local councils to award or decline planning permission.
Rogers made these comments in an interview with New Yorker magazine.
