We decided to list some inspirational decorating changes and proposals you might implement during autumn.

As the weather changes,  it is time to decorate the house for it to be cosier. Autumn colours can be easily “relocated” to our rooms. If we have a nearby park or garden – obtaining some natural decorative materials is easy, affordable – requiring only some “do-it-yourself” efforts.

Outdoor Space

For outdoor space or a small patio, it would be best to choose weatherproof furniture. There should be a comfortable bench, a few nice chairs and a small table to enjoy a cup of tea on a sunny, inevitably chilly day.  As the temperature drops,  a nice pillow and blanket would be just right. It might be hidden in a small chair storage or on the patio to be available when needed.

Colours

Pumpkin, rust,  maple red, orange and cinnamon.  All those colours will be just right for autumn.  It is a great time to experiment with different green and brown shades as well.   To significantly change the room,   new curtains or a rug would add a feeling of warmth.  For  small spaces that require brighter colours we could introduce decorative elements with  attractive yellow accents. If you are not sure which colour fits best,  just use a combination of stripes or other patters. A mixture of  all above mentioned colours could prove appropriate.

To create incredible results you can use candles, jars, glasses or even hooks.
