In Berlin for the duration of the World Cup, the Stadion An der Alten Forsterei has been transformed into a giant living room!
It has been equipped with huge TVs, wallpaper to keep the living room atmosphere and at least 700 sofas. To increase the comfort level you can even bring your own sofa!
How many people registered so far?
According to event organisers so far 780 sofas were registered for the first night’s action. That means around 12,000 people watched the first match (Brazil- Croatia).
The whole idea of crowd gathering is not new. However, it is a great idea to be able to watch it with other fans, sitting comfortably on a sofa.
Possibly, the Stadion will be even more full of people on Monday when Germany will play Portugal.
