London’s Walkie Talkie garden

After several months of tests, the controversial garden on the 35th floor was finally open to the public. It has three restaurants and it is not really what it was intended to be. Critics says that it looks more like a vegetable garden.

Only a few trees grow there and it is open from 6pm to paying clientele. One needs to book it online in advance. All this has disappointed the original supporters of this project, who were sure a publicly accessible garden will be really available.  However, one thing is exceptional : a unique dining experience for more than 400 diners and an extra 200 members of the public. All within a tree-storey space.

Walkie- Takie

It is London’s highest and most controversial roof garden that unfortunately disappointed city planners. They are not impressed with the final result. After last year controversies, the building has been  finally completed. The nature passionate will probably agree that Center Parc views are now better whereas the availability of a Fenchurch grill, Darwin brassiere as well as Sky Pod bar on the lower terrace is becoming very popular.
