A Vietnamese architect has designed an excellent house project for countryside residents . It could withstand harsh weather conditions. In 2012, Mr.Vo Trong Nghia was a winner of 11 international architecture awards in various categories. Thanks to this particular weather resistant house prototype, he gained international recognition.
The prototype is created from precast concrete frames that cost no more than 4,000 US Dollars. These affordable stable houses would be a perfect solution for rural areas where a lot of people live in poverty. The precast concrete foundation used for the main construction is prefabricated, helping this way to cut the costs of production. It weighs only 60kg that allows using a boat to transport it.
