Sports Arena in the back garden?

Did you ever wonder what we might find on the super wealthy gift list?

From a variety of items that we could think of,  there is one recently available that would satisfy any sports fan.  Why not build your own Olympic Stadium in your own  back garden?  For  $30m the architects from London will build for you a “personal” arena.

Architects at Populous who are very experienced in this field (their portfolio include London’s Olympic Stadium, Yankee) are ready to fulfill such a caprice.

What will it look like?

It will include the newest technology such as  LED screens or fibre-optic lighting. The latter – at the flip of a switch – could transform your  football field into a baseball stadium!  There would be around 100 seating places. If that is not enough, on demand, wind, snow and rain machines can add a real experience.  A retractable roof could be included and would secure the weather conditions inside the stadium.

How long would one need to wait for completing such an Arena?

The construction process would take around 12 months, but the gift recipient would have to supply the necessary land.

This is a brand new idea and some of us would question whether it is possible to build it in such a short time. I am sure we will soon  find out.
