Sun-Tracking Mirrors

A small town in Norway has been provided with 3 monstrous mirrors which will redirect natural sunlight to it’s public square.

Rjukan is usually in near perpetual darkness between the months of September and April.

The 300 square foot mirrors will adjust themselves to track the sun via a computer and provide a well lit meeting area for the town’s inhabitants.

The project costs less than $1 million and will be in place for the coming winter.
