For many years big cities try to tackle the problem of pollution. Who would think that a simple banner could deliver clean air and drinking water! Air- purifying billboards are capable of cleaning up to 100,000 cubic meters of polluted air each day! If we compare it to the forces of nature, it would correspond to a similar task accomplished by 1200 trees.
How does it work?
The billboards absorb polluted air and release clean air back to the surroundings. Specialists in Peru tested and confirmed that built specially for this purpose banners, significantly reduce pollution and help breathing.
UTEC ad agency and FCB Mayo claim that in the future it would be possible to create on a large scale drinking water from air by condensation. It is expected that one banner could produce water for a maximum of 35 people per day. Further details are unknown.
