SmartGlass shines on ITV Daybreak
A shining example of one of the innovative glass interiors manufactured by SmartGlass International is the set of the newly launched ITV breakfast anchor program “Daybreak”, made from SPD SmartGlass.
SmartGlass International was responsible for designing and installing this an innovative solar control glazing system that would combat the negative effects of direct sunlight including glare and heat.
SPD SmartGlass offered the perfect solution and was installed in approximately 100 window panes. The glass facade can now be automatically dimmed from clear to dark controlling glare and solar heat gain while protecting the studio inhabitants from the damaging effects of UV.
LC SmartGlass protects at London’s Paddington Hospital
Another example of one of the innovative glass interiors designed by SmartGlass International can be found at London’s Paddington hospital.
SmartGlass International was commissioned to create a number of interior glass surfaces between cinical treatment rooms and public areas. These innovative surfaces were made out of LC Smart Glass in order to offer patients privacy and dignity at the touch of a button.
These innovative glass interiors also offer the additional benefit of helping to improve patient’s overall health by creating easily cleanable surfaces that have been scientifically shown to reduce the spread of germs.
The LC Smart Glass windows used in the bathroom were well received and featured as a large part of the advertising for the new TV series including being discussed on the Ray Darcy show on Today FM.
SmartGlass features on popular TV show Room to ImproveAnother one of SmartGlass Internationals innovative glass interiors was recently featured on a new series of the popular RTE television series “Room to Improve”
Architect Dermot Bannon helped sisters Margaret and Jodie Burke to renovate and extend their family home with fantastic results.
