Privacy glass comprises of a liquid crystal sheet bonded between the two layers of glass. When the glass is in a non-energized state the small molecules in the liquid crystal sheet disperse all light allowing non to pass through the glass pane. However when electrical energy is applied the molecules will arrange themselves in such a way that it will allow light to pass through

The user of the privacy glass can choose how he or she wants to operate the glass. It can be done by:

• a wall switch;
• a remote control;
• movement sensors;
• a timer; or
• even synchronised to a door lock.

Privacy glass is available in 1,150 * 3, 000 mm, which are the maximum size and the minimum size being 200 * 300 mm. If you want your glass to be tinted it can be done so on request. The colour tints that are available to the customer(s) are:

• clear;
• blue;
• bronze;
• grey; and
• green.
